What's the difference between a journal and a database?

Answer

A Journal is a publication that publishes articles of interest within a given subject area. Scholarly Journals, Trade Journals, and Popular Journals are three types of journals that the library provides access to.

A Database is a collection of sources, usually pertaining to a broad subject area, which can include Journals as well as Books, Films, and other types of sources (e.g. ScienceDirect, PsycINFO).
