What's the difference between a journal and a database?
Answer
A journal is a publication that publishes articles of interest within a given subject area. Scholarly journals, trade journals, and popular journals are three types of journals that the library provides access to.
A database is a collection of sources, usually pertaining to a broad subject area, which can include journals as well as books, films, and other types of sources (e.g. ScienceDirect, PsycINFO).
