How do I download and print a chapter or section of one of Sprague Library's eBooks?

Answer

Chapters or sections of an eBook can be downloaded and printed via the Sprague Library’s online book catalog. Once you find the desired eBook in the catalog, click on the title, then select “View eBook.” Clicking this link will bring you to the page where you can read the book online, download and print select chapters, and if available, download the book in its entirety. This page will also list the availability and permissions associated with the eBook. Because the Sprague Library purchases eBook licenses from a variety of vendors, this page will look slightly different depending on which vendor supplied the eBook. Look for the link that reads either “PDF Full Text” or “Read Online” and select it.

Note: due to copyright and licensing restrictions, the amount of pages available to download and print varies between eBooks. Look for these restrictions under either “Publisher Permissions” or “Availability” on this page.

Once you have opened the online version of the eBook, use the navigation tools to locate the chapter, section, or pages you wish to download and print. Then, use the toolbar at the top of the page to download and print as needed.screen capture of EBSCO eBook full text reader, highlighting Print Pages option on toolbarscreen capture of ProQuest eBook online reader, highlighting Print button on toolbar
