How do I find out if the library owns a DVD, CD, streaming video or other media item I need?
Answer
- Go to the University Libraries Homepage,
- Select the Find Books & Media Tab and enter your search terms.
- Once you have search results, look to the left side of the page to Narrow by Format (video, eBook, DVD, etc.).
- Streaming content can be clicked on and accessed immediately from your search result.
- Physical media such as DVDs or CDs, at Sprague have a Number (e.g. DVD NO. 3915) that you will need to know in order to retrieve it.
- At Sprague Library, the Multimedia Stacks are located on the Lower Level.
- Items at Bloomfield College Library will be identified by its Library of Congress Number-Letter Combination.
- At Bloomfield College Library, Multimedia are stored in the Reserves Room and can be requested at the Front Desk.
