How do I borrow materials from another library?

Answer

There are two options available:

  1. Through Interlibrary Services (ILL)
  2. Through VALE,  Montclair students, staff, and faculty, you may borrow materials from nearby colleges and universities You must get written permission from the Access Services department.
  3. Through ReBL, community members from ReBL-participating libraries can register for Montclair State University Libraries borrowing privileges at either the Sprague or Bloomfield College Library. Montclair State University patrons (students, staff, faculty, alumni with alumni IDs) who are interested in using their cards at ReBL-participating libraries can visit the Sprague or Bloomfield College Library to have a ReBL sticker affixed to their card.
  4. Visit the Access Services Desk (in the front lobby) for details or call 973-655-4288.
