Does the library have my textbook?

In general, MSU Libraries does not purchase textbooks.
However, some professors place copies of course textbooks on reserve.
Check the Library Catalog to see if MSU Libraries has the textbook you need.
- Search Course Reserves towards the top of the Library Catalog's screen.
- Then, search by your Professor's Last Name, Course Name, or Course Number.
- If the book you need is not available, please check the Textbook Buying Guide for a list of stores where you can do some comparison shopping for textbooks.
Our Interlibrary Loan Department will not process requests for textbooks from other libraries.
