Q. COVID-19: I have borrowed materials that I would like to return during the COVID-19 public health emergency. What are my options?

Answer

  • The 24-hour book return drop outside of the library’s front entrance remains accessible during this time. Due to these extenuating circumstances, the library is also allowing interlibrary loan materials to be returned through the book drop.
  • Fines and fees for late returns are suspended for the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester (note: replacement fees still apply for lost books and other library materials).
  • Whenever possible, the library is automatically extending due dates and issuing renewals for borrowed materials. For interlibrary loan renewals see the COVID-19 ILL FAQ.

If you have any questions, email the Access Services Department at circreserves@montclair.edu.

For questions about interlibrary loans, email the Interlibrary Services Department at ill@montclair.edu.
